Welcome to Just B Counselling
My hope as a counsellor is that you will feel both heard and understood.
Get in TouchHello, I’m Byneta Robinson
I am a fully qualified Person-Centred Counsellor and an Accredited Member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society.
I have a deep passion for helping people feel heard, valued and seen, something many of us struggle to experience in our everyday lives.
Just B Counselling is a space that allows all of the above.
We are all human. We face traumas, struggles and hardships that can leave us feeling overwhelmed or disconnected. I offer a safe place away from the noise of life, where you are free to Just B, free to explore emotions, thoughts and feelings that may have gone unheard or unspoken.
Choosing counselling is a brave step. It can feel daunting or even scary, but you won’t be doing it alone. I won’t tell you what to do; instead, I’ll walk alongside you as we explore your journey together.
Although many of us experience similar mental health challenges, traumas or losses, we each process them in our own unique way. I support individuals through significant life events such as serious illness, bereavement and relationship breakdowns, as well as the everyday struggles of anxiety, low mood and depression.
How can counselling help?
As a Person-Centred Counsellor, my role is to listen. I offer a safe, non-judgemental space where you can go wherever you need to go. This is your journey and yours alone.
My approach brings you to the heart of the therapeutic relationship, always going at your own pace. Together, we can explore your past and present to understand your feelings, thoughts and emotions. My role is to support you in this process by offering empathy, a gentle ear, and a space where you can feel truly heard.
There are times when we get lost in the madness of life and feel alone or stuck. By working together with understanding and empathy, we can explore the thoughts and feelings that often go unsaid.
Through our sessions, you will have the freedom to explore your experiences and challenges with the confidence that you are seen, heard and valued. This can open up new possibilities for empowerment, self-understanding and healing.
Alongside counselling, I can also support you with confidence building, reconnecting with the YOU in you, rebuilding self-esteem, and learning to love yourself again after losing sight of who you are.
We can often get lost in others, their words and life. Counselling allows you to be at the centre, for your words to be heard without judgement. In confidence, knowing it's a safe space for you to Just B.
There are many reasons people come for counselling. Sometimes we may feel lost, stuck or even alone. Some feel like they may no longer know who they are. Struggling with life and the heaviness they carry. Whether it is depression, anxiety, trauma or an abusive relationship. I see you and I am here to help.
By working together to build a therapeutic relationship based on trust and respect, I can gain a deeper insight into you as a person and the challenges you are facing. We will together explore the underlying reasons for your thoughts, behaviours and feelings, giving you a better understanding of why you may act or react the way you do. which will empower you to move forward.
